Ok, so ultrasounds are...AMAZING! I cried all through my first one at 8 weeks, and my OB blamed the hormones. Honestly, it was the first time I really felt pregnant! Seeing our baby on the screen was such a beautiful experience. I just had another ultrasound this week at the perinatologist and was absolutely blown away by how developed our little bean is! I am in awe of God's creation and so humbled that He is creating within me! Fortunately, Matt took a video so we could share with others. I cry every time I watch it. It's truly incredible.

Our Little Apple Seed
We finally told our family! Better news, we got it on video. :]
To preface the video, we were all sitting down to dinner and I told my in-laws Matt and I had a gift for them. I was sitting next to my mother-in-law and handed her a small brown box with an apple seed inside. She opened the box and asked, "A seed?" "An apple seed," I clarified. I watched her confused expression for a second, then said, "It's the size of your grand baby!" Watch the video to see the reaction! :]
We're Pregnant!
I've been thinking a lot about how I wanted to document the progression of my pregnancy. So many women are doing the chalkboard updates, which are super cute, but I wanted to do something a little different. I decided to write a letter to baby on each photo, updating him/her along the way. Once baby is born, I will create a book of the photos to keep in the nursery. This way, baby can grow up knowing the journey outside the tummy, too! :]

Baby Announcement!
Matthew and I are SO ridiculously excited to announce that we are having a baby! God has blessed us abundantly, and his provisions just keep coming! We are honored and humbled by this little bundle of joy on the way. Here is our pregnancy announcement:
